Have heard some good stories about the "old Ricky" that were pretty good. I really not care for the flashy clothes, but the kid has major game and is maturing before our eyes. The best thing for golf is for him, Spieth, and some other young guys to take the torch and be the guys who chase Rory much like Phil and some others did with Tiger. Although I think his injuries have done him in, someone like Anthony Kim was good because of his cockiness. I know some folks hate Reed but I like his spunk and confidence. Golf needs some good guys and "bad guys" to follow. The golf traditionalist would not agree. They want Adam Scott's all over the tour which is fine but to draw in new fans and better ratings Golf needs some edge to it.
Guys like Bubba are great for the game if they can embrace things better and be more fan friendly. I have no problem with a guy saying he believes he is a top 5 player. I do not like a guy who whines and cries about everything all the while they get to play the greatest game at a high level and make a lot of money doing it. If not for the fans and media following them, they would have no sponsors and would be like the rest of us playing at local public or private clubs.
