Ping Karsten TR: Paint removal

Thread Starter

Hi,

I have recently purchased a Ping Karsten TR putter (B60), and I am wondering if anyone here has removed the white paint from the face of the putter.  While I like the look of the putter as it is, I am considering using some acetone to remove it.

Has anyone done this?

black sharpie? lol

can I ask why you want to remove the paint?

I have used nail polish remover on my wedges so I could change the color of the numbers and worked well.

Tom.

I think that if the whole head was the same colour, it may look better...

A bit of a late reply, but nope, never got around to it.  I think that before I start customising my putter, I need to learn how to use it, ha ha.

Here's what it will look like.

Hey if you remove it and putt bad, then you have an excuse because the weighting in the head is off 😁

Ha ha, unfortunately my poor technique renders any excuse invalid!
