Ok so I wanted to start this thread because of the round I had today. I haven't had much chance to play golf this year and I'm still pretty new to the game. I shot 100 on a course 70.2/126 from whites. now 100 is normally in my wheel house of rounds but I took 9 penalty strokes where I normally don't take them, I flubbed at least 7 shots, putting was on par for my game and my long game was better and straighter then normal. I'm so confused cause I know I could have shot a bit better then I did and yet I think given my mistakes I should have scored worse then I did.
Since I'm still pretty new to golf I'd like to know how often this happens to you guys. Now maybe your score won't be as high as mine but even for the single digit cappers I'm sure this happens to you, to an extent.
