Tour Edge Exotics CU irons

Sorry, I can't help with the Exotics CU's, but I've got to ask.......What is it about your current clubs that you don't like?

If I remember right, you've changed clubs several times in the past couple of years.  That's a pretty good set of sticks you've got right now.  Given your current financial status, and the dramatic rise in your handicap lately, I'm wondering if the $2k or so wouldn't be better spent on lessons.

That depends... Let's say you have a 5-foot-7 Indian (golfer) with 5i clubhead speed of 65 MPH. He's having trouble controlling his irons, which happen to be TM Tour Preferred Musclebacks (MBs) with Project X 7.0 shafts. In this case, I'd say the golfer needs to refit his arrows.

The trick is to get clubs that fit your physique and swing - for most of us, club that won't hurt our game. But after that, it's lessons, practice, and playing regularly that will improve your score.

I don't know much about TE's Exotics, but I do like their products. I did try their Exotic metal woods several years ago, but found them not to my liking. Perhaps their newer versions are more playable. I play TE's irons myself . I know from past experience that their customer service, after the sale, is top of the line. I can't imagine any other brand being better. Maybe as good, but not better than Tour Edge. I have used their CS on two occasions, and had no problems what so ever. In fact they did more than I expected.

I know the quality of their equipment is also top of the line, and of course their pricing is very easy on one's finances.

If it's any help to you, in the past I have purchased all of my TE stuff from Golf USA in Manhattan, Kansas. They are very knowledgeable about their products. It has been a few years since I did do business with them, but I would go there again if I needed something.

True, but that's why I asked what he didn't like about his current clubs....or the other sets that he's had. As a former + handicap, I've got to assume he's had clubs that fit pretty well in the past and that these aren't likely to be very far off.....

I had the CU irons for a minute. Very similar to my 588 TT's.

Only one (Watkins Glen GC) carries the Exotics line. Hope this helps.
