Thanks for the input. Still up in the air. Clay is questionable with a hindering knee problem. He is due for a big game though

Clay has a bunch of raw natural talent. I feel like he could have a game with 10 catches, 150 yards, and two TD's or go bust and put up a 2 for 15. We shall see.

Larry Donnell he will get a lot of looks. Houston will be up early forcing the Giants pass and a te is a good safety valve when he JJ Watt is flying around.

I like team 1. I myself have the Rivers Allen connection. With Woodhead and Matthews being out the passing game opens up. Rivers almost had 400 last game and Allen had his 1st big game.

Yea, I don't know what to do....

Right now...

Phillip Rivers----------------> Insert Aaron Rodgers

Keenan Allen---------------> Insert DeAndre Hopkins or TY Hilton depending on match up.

Damaryius Thomas

Demarco Murray

Jimmy Graham

CJ Spiller  <-------------- Sneaky in PPR and points for return leagues-  Hasn't had breakout game but really steady points

BENCH

Roddy White  <-------- Open for bye week flexibility

DeAndre Hopkins  <--------- Hopkins or Hilton depending on match up.

Thing is we only have two bench spots .... and we have DEF, K, DL, LB, LB, DB, DB, D......  So going into the Bye weeks, I'll have to end up dropping Roddy or DeAndre Hopkins or Keenan Allen at some point to allow for some FA moves during bye weeks...

I have been offered Aaron Rodgers and TY Hilton for Rivers, White, Allen....  I think I might do it as I get Rodgers (Rivers is sneaky close but Rodgers is a little better).  It frees up some flexibility going into bye weeks......      Would you do the trade?

PS... It's a 12 team league, so I'm in good shape either way...

Take rodgers and hilton. The packers don't play another good pass defense really all season (unless you think Carolina will turn it around ).Also Hilton gets a ton of targets. White hasn't been healthy in a few years and San Diego still has Denver twice KC twice and the Jets.

If you feel like bye weeks are going to lead to losses preventing playoffs I'd do the trade, I've never played individual defense before so I'm not too sure the pain you're going through lol. Rodgers is an elite QB and has great WRs but his line scares me. Rivers has been playing well though. Go with your gut on this one man. Value on either end there.

I accepted the Trade - Aaron Rodgers and TY Hilton for Phillip Rivers, Keenan Allen, and Roddy White...

Really it's a toss up... and comes down to what I'm trying to do with my team...   I couldn't make up my mind!!!! lol

Ultimately, considering we only have two bench spots, I free up one spot going into the bye weeks to make roster moves - in this league there is high volume drop adding of decent players during the bye weeks even with 12 teams in the league.  You are usually forced to make decisions to drop someone or start someone on a bye if you don't plan properly.

I really feel like I would have had to drop Roddy White either way...   Aaron Rodger and Phillip Rivers are closer than people think in Fantasy, but I definitely give the edge to Rodgers.

I end up with:  - in a 12 team league....

QB:    Aaron Rodgers

WR:   Damaryius Thomas

WR:   DeAndre Hopkins

RB:    Demarco Murray

TE:     Jimmy Graham

Flex:  CJ Spiller (PPR & Return Points makes him a consistent play regardless of running yards)

Bench: TY Hilton

Bench:  T. Kelcey (Graham on a bye next week)

Def:  Sea

LB, LB, DB, DB, DL, D (flex defensive person) - I don't feel like listing my player out here but I'm okay...

That's a solid lineup for a 12 team league, where are you at in standings?

    • Day 76 - Pretty sore today, so I opted for putting over my Stack session. Primary focus was on starting line, as my putting has been pretty poor this year.
    • Been a bit of delay in updates but I needed to come back east as my mom's health has taken a serious turn for the worse. In a 3 day span we learned she had a tumor to she has stage 4 cancer and stopped eating and drinking for the most part. She has had a rough 3 months but certainly didn't think we'd be at the point of setting up hospice for her. My mom was never into any sports really other than following the Red Sox because my dad was a big fan. She always cared about what we were involved in including asking about how golf went.  I have kept up with my 5 minutes of daily practice and will go to the gym here in NH tomorrow morning. Despite the somber nature of this trip my family has commented more than a few times about my weight loss so it's important to me to keep it up. I know my mom always wanted us happy in whatever we did so I'll continue with my fitness journey keeping that in mind.
    • Day 109- Putting drills on a putting green for 20 minutes.
    • Day 252: did a stack session. Did some slow rehearsal swings during breaks.
    • Day 82: 3/18/24 Tried a Stack session but could not certify my warmup. Finished with indoor chips and putting.
