The talent level seem to be getting progressively better over the years. Hopefully that will hold true for this season.

Pretty good opening show. There were some nice approach shots hit.

Yeah, they seemed like better players than we've seen in the past. Nobody missed the green, and the "worst" shot was 11'7".

This season looks more interesting than the last few. I stopped watching for a while because too many times some of those players who all felt they were "this close" to being on tour, we're hitting shots that I hit every day and I'm a bad golfer :-)

Seems like some better caliber of play shaping up.

I hope it holds.  More fun to watch when they are playing at their best.

I agree, based on last nights show it appears the golf talent level is better than previous seasons.  Anthony was the only real question mark, so far he is talking a much better game than he plays.

They are making it reallllllllly easy to root for him to get knocked out first, aren't they?  Well, that is if you watched the introduction show.  They played sort of a "trailer" of some highlights from the season, and he basically talks like Mary did last season.  Very, very cocky ... with seemingly the worst swing of the bunch.  I guess we'll see.

Strategy-wise, I liked last nights wrinkle.  So now one guy has a 'get out of jail free' card, but when - if ever - is the right time to use it?  I know when I wouldn't use it:  when I was chosen by the person who came in last to be their opponent in the elimination challenge.  Don't want to look scared to play anybody.  I would probaby wait to use it later in the show when I was the automatic "qualifier" for the elimination challenge.

Nevermind all this golf talk, seems the real "talent" lies with the eastern European blonde or the Austrian brunette ... I'm rooting for the Austrian !!    You ?

PS - it was so hilariously funny how one of the guys kept calling the Austrian girl, Russian !!      My wife almost threw a fit she was laughing so hard !!!

Too early for me to know who I'm rooting for. I usually pick the one that I think can actually take advantage of the opportunity and for me to get an idea about that I have to see some long game shots.

Yes, Anthony is quite cocky and hasn't shown a swing to back it up.  In the glass break competition he was completely over-swinging.  In the coming attractions they also had him smack talking so it appears that's his personality which combined with his golf swing means he won't last long.

I like the wrinkle too, adds some strategy to the game.  I'm curious if people will view him as the best player and avoid him or try to force his hand to use the immunity pass.  If I won it, I'd hold on to it too and if I was a competitor with a decent chance at beating him I'd want to see him "waste" it early in the season.

Well I've never really watched much of the show so not sure how it will go but the guy with the immunity looks to be the best. Broke the glass in one shot(which I will say doesn't look that hard) and then played the holes birdie/birdie. Including hitting his fairway wood 300+ on the par 5. Looked pretty legit to me.

Yeah he looks pretty good but we haven't really seen what the rest of them have yet.

BTW. It is very easy to break a pane of glass. I've broken three of them out of my own house.:doh::doh: (Damned flier lies).

There are six ladies. Four of them bring the looks. The brunette from Austria; the blonde from Latvia; a short blonde and a tall brunette with a nice rack. The two foreign ladies are 1 and 1A. The guys all seem cool, except the aforementioned Anthony. He has played the heel since day 1.

I thought Mary Narizi would be the most hated Big Breaker of all time. I was wrong by a mile. This kid Anthony is going to win every medal in being the worst Big Breaker ever.

    • Yea Club Rat said it. I really enjoyed the Senator and the Judge, then over to Grand National where there a couple good courses plus a fun par 3. The one I do play whenever I visit there is Ross Bridge; something about this course that is just good fun. I hope to play more of the courses in the future, but tomorrow is promised to no one, so hope is the key word. Have Fun, iSank

    • Day 56: 4/19/2024 Okay, even though I'll be teeing it up in a tournament in less than a week. I couldn't find time to get to the range today.  I spent time on the indoor putting mat.  And I spent time in front of the mirror with my 7 iron. Then again later with the driver.  I also thoroughly cleaned all my clubs.
