I start with my left leg shifting down and outward and then knee and then hips - I do lift up my left leg on my back swing ala Nicklaus style :)

I couldn't say. I don't actually think about it in the swing, it pretty much just happens for me.

Agree. I feel like I've answered this before too. What initiates my downswing? The end of my backswing. ;)

My hips, but just barely. I believe  if my lower body moves first, I get more power into the back of the ball, than if I started with my arms. (that centrifugal/ centripetal force thing) I also believe that starting with my upper body might cause me swing from outside to in.

My Son says I tend to slide my hips forward, however, what I feel is weight on my left foot, i.e. pressing into the ground.

Great question here. I thinks it helps to hear what others "feel" at this critical moment. I'm also glad to see that nobody (yet) has made that totally annoying and bs phrase "I just bump my forward hip a bit and my arms just fall in the slot". Total bs! Nobody swings with just their lower body and just let their arms go unless they've suffered a severe stroke and have paralyzed arms. I feel I start with my forward hip moving a little towards the target. I do feel a pull of my leading arm I believe.

Lead foot and shoulder. Press down and rip it up and open.

It's also my priority piece so I'm pretty aware of it.

Yours in earnest, Jason.
