for the life of me I cant find that thread...EVEN after using the search function! Anyone remember who it was that did that awesome trip with their dad just recently? Was it Pinehurst? Anyway, the reson I ask is that I am very keen on getting a week of golf in America April/May time just before our new season kicks off here in the UK. Then I thought to myself why not spend a week at a golf clinic...then I got doubly thinky and thought why not spend a week at the golf academy at Pinehurst and make it a trip to remember!?!?!?! :) So yeah, any other ideas for good golf schools for a week people? Im quite partial on spending time in Florida playing golf but anywhere in the states that is easy to get to would be great as well. Regards Mailman

I didn't think it was Pinehurst, but maybe TPC Sawgrass or Pebble Beach?

As for suggestions in the Florida area, there's PGA National, TPC Sawgrass, Doral, and LaPlaya Beach. All of those options I know have a resort that's attached to them that probably have "stay and play" packages, but I'm not sure on the pricing of them.

Another area that has nice courses (but might not be quite as warm as Florida) is the New York area. Shinnecock Hills, Fishers Island CLub, Bethpage Black, and the National Golf Links of America are all there and excellent courses (at a cheaper price than the Florida ones as well). The downside is I don't believe these courses have any of the resorts attached or any "stay and play" packages if that's what you're looking for with your vacation.

      Day 55: 4/18/2024 Got to the range again today. Planned to do my priority pieces and then hit targets with irons. But after my priority pieces I hit a few drives and tugged them all hard left. .... Uh... oh boy.  So, I spent about a half hour trying to hit targets at the range with my driver.
