Warm soapy water doesn't work?

Although my drive isn't as nice as your's..lol  Use dawn dish washing liquid, warm water and a soft dish cloth. Dawn is a great dirt/grease cutter, and genital on your hands.... :-D

Umm, Hammer, suggest you get WordCheck into play on your computer.  Frankly, i find dish detergent harsh on my genitals.

But to address the OP concerns.  IF, and not making any accusations. but if the problem is nasty white marks on the very top edge of your driver caused by range balls hit with 'pop-up' action, then these are not quite so easy to remove.  My experience using teen-ager face scrubs with some kind of tiny gritty stuff works OK. Brillo pads and wire brushes will strip the paint fast.  Those marks are persistent, ugly. telling and reminders of failure.   This is the one great fault of nice new clubs: loss of beauty thru use.

I'll let the misplaced apostrophe go, but are sure you meant "genitals on your hands"? :-\

Did you not mean that "Dawn is gentle on your genitals"?

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

Not really on topic is it, @Shorty ? It would be here: .

Not sure what to do about the flat finish drivers but I have removed many an idiot mark off of gloss ones with Meguiars NXT car wax.

Some may be surprised to know that tooth paste will remove some marks w/o hurting the finish. I use to use it remove swirl marks on turn table dustcovers. Use a soft cloth, slightly damp, use a circular motion, and take your time. If the marks are bad, might try a low cutting automotive polish.

I know this is not exactly what the OP asked but it might help others cleaning their driver. I have a Taylormade Racketballz Stage 2

that has a black face. I could not get the white marks the tees left on the face and bottom.

I finally tried the the heavy duty cleaner I bought for my car. It is called Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner Plus D103. It can

only be bought through auto detailing websites. I used it in the 4:1 dilution and it took the mark right off.

The paint on top of drivers is pretty tough stuff  but it cannot take abrasive cleaners.

If you screw up, the touch up paints can be found in an art supply store.

    • Been a bit of delay in updates but I needed to come back east as my mom's health has taken a serious turn for the worse. In a 3 day span we learned she had a tumor to she has stage 4 cancer and stopped eating and drinking for the most part. She has had a rough 3 months but certainly didn't think we'd be at the point of setting up hospice for her. My mom was never into any sports really other than following the Red Sox because my dad was a big fan. She always cared about what we were involved in including asking about how golf went.  I have kept up with my 5 minutes of daily practice and will go to the gym here in NH tomorrow morning. Despite the somber nature of this trip my family has commented more than a few times about my weight loss so it's important to me to keep it up. I know my mom always wanted us happy in whatever we did so I'll continue with my fitness journey keeping that in mind.
    • Day 109- Putting drills on a putting green for 20 minutes.
    • Day 252: did a stack session. Did some slow rehearsal swings during breaks.
    • Day 82: 3/18/24 Tried a Stack session but could not certify my warmup. Finished with indoor chips and putting.
    • Day 96 (18 Mar 24) - Continued work with the Divot Board with the GW and hard foam balls.  Focused on small target/small miss…setup to hit target about 30yds out - success if it hit within 6’ circle of target, fail if outside.  Had decent success averaging about 3 out of 4 (hitting in groups of four).
