Quote:
Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of two-wheelers, announced a global sponsorship agreement on Tuesday with golfer Tiger Woods. The Indian motorcycle and scooter maker is little known in the U.S., but the company plans to use Woods in its expansion outside its base in India, where it generates 98% of its sales.

There's a funny take on this here too.

Good deal for both parties.  If Tiger gets his swing back and wins a few tournaments it will be a great deal for Hero.

Agreed. Also gets Hero and the motorcycle community out there where it otherwise may have never been, i.e. advertising and such.

Hero also sponsors some U.S. road racers.. :-D
