So we had the video of the cute little kid missing a putt on punched greens. Well, it ain't pretty when an adult does it. Real or staged, the green takes a hit.

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

The guy has deeper issues than just missing a 3 foot putt. Trashing a green like that? I don't think he's playing there anymore, or shouldn't be.

Part of me thinks it was staged. The guy reacts very oddly, misses the putt by a LOT after not warming up, etc.

But then I have to ask myself "why on earth would someone stage THAT?"

If it was staged and the answer is "advertising revenue from YouTube," then I really hate humanity sometimes.

Yeah, I think it's phony. Watch the way the guy rids himself of the putter – he throws it down, but not hard, like his real concern is the club's welfare. A guy in the midst of a real sh!t fit would likely bury the head into the green.

I don't know, maybe that green was about to be torn out and a couple of goofballs decided to make a video to get themselves some attention.

Maybe they were renovating the greens the next day. Does seem staged by how far left the guy missed the putt.

Agreed. It's kind of odd how he has to build himself up into ragefest after the ball stops. Usually I see people freak out pretty much as soon as the putt misses. Real or fake, it's lame either way.

Hopefully so with the renovation, as far as the whole tantrum episode maybe also it is meant to show people how stupid they appear when they get so pissed off about something as irrelevant as a casual round of golf, so maybe it does serve a purpose.

Looking at it, it was staged. Most people who choke that badly on a short putt will leave it short or barely miss it. The temper build up wasn't spontaneous enough.

I've choked on a one-foot birdie putt :8) , missed the tap in, then putted the three foot bogey. That was worth a meltdown, but there were still 8 more holes to play and I had to par the next one. I lit a cigarette between holes and refocused instead of having a meltdown. It was 90 F in the shade.

Yeah as I was watching I could tell he wasn't even aiming at the hole and knew it would miss left unless it had some major break which I couldn't see.I imagine it was staged  or the guy is just awful and a jerkoff too haa.

Actually had a guy do that at my old club, I was a couple groups behind and saw the scar.

He didn't admit to it right away, don't know exactly what happened to him but he wasn't around for a month or so (he was one of those guys that was there every weekend day and was obnoxious enough that you couldn't miss him if you tried).

Seems people like that only have other idiots like them who are willing to play with them. I played with this guy once and that was enough. What a :pound:
