I love to fly southwest. Took my golf clubs with me to Charleston, SC when I visited my mother for a few days. I played River Towne and the Harbor Course at Wild Dunes. And these last three days in St. Louis have had weather like Palm Springs. I played the Highlands at Forest Park on Saturday and Sunday. I will continue with plenty of practice greens and range time as the weather gets cold again.

Thinking about the spring and how I love to get out of town and play in new and distinctly different environs. Considering a trip to Cocoa Beach, FL in February but this is dependent on my available funds. I still have to look into this. For sure going back to Charleston in March or April.

It is important to expect nothing, to take every experience, including the negative ones, as merely steps on the path, and to proceed.”. Ram Dass

Forgot to check into our group!

My wife Shirley and I went down to Myrtle Beach for five days in mid-March. We played the Myrtlewood courses on Wednesday-Thursday, and Myrtle Beach National - South Creek on Friday.

It wasn't all fun and games - I was testing the new version Bridgestone e6 golf balls for TST as part of the trip.

Shirley got fitted for new golf clubs last summer, and she hit lots of good shots despite the winter layoff.

More soon.

Club Rat, is it time to bring the group to WingHaven again?

Focus, connect and follow through!
