Let me know if you think it's interesting or what I could do to make it better

I'm not sure what to make of this chart. What conclusions can we draw from this?
P.S. I think we know why Rory is the best right now.
There are several arguments for it, but I'm not seeing it in your chart. Are you suggesting it's because he has the lowest Sunday scoring average? Based on this data, both Adam Scott and Sergio Garcia have lower scores than Rory (abeit by 0.1 and 0.2 strokes, respectively).

I use something similar in the golf fantasy leagues I play in. Your data shows what's going on Thursday - Sunday, which is what your intentions were. It tells the story.

I guess I was really referring to how well Rory finishes.  He's knows how to finish a tournament.  I figure most tournaments are won on the backside on Sunday.

That's what I thought you were getting at. I don't necessarily agree. A player may win a tournament by separating himself from the field on any given day, or all of them. There are plenty of tournaments won where the Sunday leader plays conservatively to protect his lead and coasts to the win. It doesn't necessarily mean someone is more likely to win because they play best on Sunday. They have this same debate in baseball, with relief pitchers. Traditionalists value the closer highly because he pitches the last inning: the last chance for an opponent to catch up. The advanced statistics crowd doesn't believe the same. Their argument is that the losing team is far less likely to tie the game in the 9th inning vs an earlier one, like the 7th, so it would be best to use your best relievers earlier. There's logic to that view, because if your team blows the lead in the 7th inning, your closer doesn't come out to pitch the 9th, so your best pitcher ends up sitting on the bench instead of making a difference. Kind of the same with golf; if a player isn't scoring well enough on Thursday and Friday, he won't be in position to contend anyway, regardless of how well he plays on Sunday. Anyway, thanks for compiling the data at the very least. Good topic for discussion.

You sure about that?

I'm referring to current rankings.  The link you posted is from week ending 10/6/14.  So, I guess you are looking at a snapshot for the end of the official season.  OK.  I was just curious where Spieth fell in.

Ya, I was referring to the season ending in 2014, not the actual 2014 year.  Sorry for confusion.
