Hi there,

I've been a voiceless admirer on these forums for a few months and fit in the bogey golfer category.


I've just (in the last 6 months) rediscovered the game, having stopped playing 'soccer' after repeated knee surgery. Having played other sports at a decent level I'm enjoying giving golf the dedicated time it needs to see improvement, have started playing some reasonably serious Saturday morning competition golf (every few weeks) and am really enjoying myself.

I've also had a couple of lessons, focused on ball striking, and I've improved from an average of 120 to about 90 (give or take a few depending on the day). I've read LSW, was very impressed, helped me feel like I could hit the ground running in terms of practice, prioritisation and strategy. The whole book is a credit to the authors.


Hoping to contribute more in the near future.
