Any idea on what this is? I.e their premium lower spinning ball?

Probably any of the SR golf balls. All three have the Urethane cover which gives you that premium wedge spin. All premium golf balls spin nearly the same off a driver.

M ost golf balls spin nearly the same off the driver. You probably see 300-400 rpm difference between golf balls. That isn't that much when you consider a mishit on the clubface can add a few thousand.

You might want to wait for the Chrome Soft to come out. It's a Mid-High price range at $38/dozen, but they advertise a Urethane cover on the ball. I bet this ball would compete well with the Prov1x.
