Today is demo day. Here are some of the photos coming in my Twitter feed. Looking forward to feedback on Virtual Green, the on the fly shapeshifting artificial green.

Hey @newtogolf ... weren't you one of the ones suggesting that its silly to put club numbers on the bottom of the clubs and they should switch to degrees or something like that awhile back?  If not, never mind. ;)

But if so, check out those Hogans!  Looks like somebody may have been listening.

I like those Srixon irons. Seems to have a nice hefty sole without all the ugly offset you would expect from a larger soled design. Also funny that the sole is v-shaped just like the new Hogans. Need to try them out as I have been looking for some irons that won't dig quite as much as my blades but stills retains that blade-like look at address.

Love the look of the Ben Hogan irons.

Really like the idea of using degrees of loft instead of a number on the irons.

The way TaylorMade and other mess around with the loft of the clubs the numbers are meaningless anyways.

I can just dream that they will make them for lefties.

The very least Ping could do is offer @saevel25 a free set of wedges. I'm still a little pissed that Bridgestone stole my "Bridging the gap" slogan. Christ, I didn't even win the free balls.

Yours in earnest, Jason.

Hey man, you know that scene in Wolf of Wall Street, there they throw the velcro little man?

Ya man, I love that scene, like totally.

Let's do that, but for golf.

I just loaded the Ping GLIDE interview on The SandTrap youtube channel. It clicked what you were talking about.

Yea, I have used the word "glide" when it comes to talking about pitching technique.

I am pretty sure I stole that from @mvmac though

I am assuming this show is not open to the public? Only to pros, retailers, media, etc? Maybe when I am fitted for my new clubs this fall, I will talk to the pro about swinging tickets.

But they are dangerous.  My 57 iron is so lofted that every time I hit it I have to duck to keep from hitting myself in the head with the ball.  And my max distance with the 57 iron is only 4 yards.  And sometimes it goes backwards!?!  I have to club up to the 53 when I have a 6 yard shot.

But then again, what the hell do I know?

9 irons usually have 42-ish degrees of loft?  And loft gaps are about 4?  By my calculations, this means that your 57 iron would have approximately 234 degrees of loft. :-P ... that actually ends up being a very reasonable 54 degrees of loft ... albeit with the grooves facing down into the ground and the top line on the bottom.

Good luck with that shot!
