Hello does anyone have any idea or maybe of a location of a club looking for the Callaway X Hot sand wedge right handed? preferably new but this seems to be a hard club to locate. Any help would be appreciated.

Keep an eye on callawaypreowned - none right now, but I can tell you - even *good* clubs I have bought from there look to be in great condition.

E-Bay or the Callaway pre-owned site, perhaps?

I've Googled specific clubs and found other online retailers who's name I hadn't heard of prior to. The hard part comes when you start looking for shaft specs, etc.

I've seen 2 from Callaway pre-owned but was hoping for a new one and if I can't locate one ill have to get a used one. Just got a brand new set but didn't have that club was always a little leery about used. Or maybe even the X Hot 2 just to complete the set. Thanks for your replies but I'll still keep a eye out for one

Callaway SWs made as part of an iron set sometimes are hard to find.

Often, people will buy an iron set 4-PW, and get separate specialty wedges from outside iron model for Gap, Sand and Lob.

When people trade in an iron set with a matching SW, Cal Pre-Owned usually sells the SW as part of the set, not as a separate club.

Are you sure you need the SW from the set? I ask because I also bought a 5-SW set from Callaway (X-24) and I hated the SW because it was so chunky and couldn't be opened easily for bunkers and chipping. I wound up giving it away after I found a good deal on a Nike SV 56°. Maybe consider just getting a good wedge that's in the same loft but that is more suited to your playing needs. Unless you have a good reason for wanting this particular SW. Most people get their SWs separate from their irons. Otherwise, I've had good experiences going through the individual irons and wedges section of Callaway preowned.

      @boogielicious and I are definitely in for the Stay & Play and will need the extra night's stay on Friday.       Taking your dispersion and distance in consideration I analyzed the 4 posible ways to play the hole, or at least the ones that were listed here. I took the brown grass on the left as fescue were you need to punch out sideways to the fairway and rigth of the car path to be fescue too.  Driver "going for the green"  You have to aim more rigth, to the bunker in order to center your shotzone in between the fescue.  Wood of 240 over the bunkers I already like this one more for you. More room to land between the fescue. Balls in the fescue 11% down from 30% with driver. Improve of score from 4.55 to 4.40. 4 iron 210 yards besides the bunkers.    Also a wide area and your shot zone is better than previous ones. This makes almost the fescue dissapear. You really need to hit a bad one (sometimes shit happens). Because of that and only having 120 yards in this is the best choice so far. Down to 4.32 from 4.40. Finally the 6 Iron 180 yards to avoid all trouble.    Wide area an narrow dispersion for almost been in the fairway all the time. Similar than the previous one but 25 yards farther for the hole to avoid been in the bunkers. Average remains the same, 4.33 to 4.32.  Conclusion is easy. Either your 4iron or 6 iron of the tee are equaly good for you. Glad that you made par!
