I was fitted for a driver last year to the Diamana Ahina 80 X-Stiff. I don't want to pay for another fitting, but I need to replace the shafts in my 3 wood, and 3 & 4 hybrids. What shafts would you recommend. The current stock shafts that I have do not support my swing speed. So anything would help.

For starters, what HDCP do you have? Are you a single-digit, or someone who smacks a couple of 300-yard drives OB twice a nine?

If you're going to replace the shafts, why not get fitted? Otherwise, you're just guessing, and having to reshaft twice instead of once would cost quite a bit more than a fitting + reshaft .

Your driver shaft specs can give you hints for what you want in FW and H shafts, but not the optimum prescription.

Also, you need to figure out what you want the non-driver shafts to do. In my case, my Tour Edge XRail 4W and 7W shafts are mid-high launch, but my Adams V4 hybrid shafts 3H and 4H shafts are low-mid launch (and they launch very hot).

The fitting will also take into account the design of your 3W and H heads, which help determ trajectory characteristics.

Focus, connect and follow through!
