I'd volunteer if I think I could give a meaningful review.  But, I don't think I could.  For a high handicapper, it seems one would need a place to practice to make a lot of head to head comparisons with some other brand or model.  For putting, chipping and short pitch shots I could do it.  For full swings, I just don't have a place to do it.

@No Mulligans

Reviews are for all handicap levels.

That way, other high handicap players can relate to the thoughts of those with similar levels of their game.

All players will have a totally different mindset and base their comments from experience or comparisons.

This is what the game is all about, experiencing various situations with variable equipment from all levels of players.

Oops! Just noticed this was for e5, e6,e7 balls. Don't care for hard balls even if they're free. Sorry. The ball fitting indicated B330-S. I'd give those a try if they were in the mix.

If you've got an extra box, I'm game!. Ball fitting said B330-S. I live in Florida (sort of warm) and was born in the Peoples Republic of New York.

Did you read the first post?

Ugh, wished I lived in a warm climate for this. Really wanted to try the e5. Now back to the winter depression thread...

The e5 is polyureathane covered for your short game pleasure. Try that one.

I already use these (e-7) balls, and find them be as good, if not better than anything else on the market.  I have tried most of the other top quality balls available during the past year. They fly well for me, and  I get consistent  distances with them. Where they excel for me is in my short game. Don't need a fee box to share that info with your readers.

I play a lot of course that I consider to be on the "firm turf" side. I tend to get a lower trajectory when using this ball, and with the firmer turf, I seem to get a few yards of extra roll.

The fact that Bridgestone balls are readily available at just about any store that sells golf stuff is another plus. There always seems to be a big box store near by.

If for some reason I were to run out of the Bridgestone balls, my next choice would be a couple of the  Volvik models.

Of course, as with any golf ball, the ball always goes where I hit it, and not necessarily where I was aiming.

Did you read the first post?

I did but the link that was posted also talked about the other Bridgestone balls. Later I realized that it was only e-series balls so I went back and edited my post, but you must have grabbed it before I edited it.

mvmac,

My wife and I will be in Myrtle Beach (going to the sunshine) the week of March 6.

How quickly would Bridgestone delivers the balls and start the 3-week timeclock?

If I don't fit on this one, I understand.

A Bridgestone ball-fitting recommends the e6 for me.

    • Day 76 - Pretty sore today, so I opted for putting over my Stack session. Primary focus was on starting line, as my putting has been pretty poor this year.
    • Been a bit of delay in updates but I needed to come back east as my mom's health has taken a serious turn for the worse. In a 3 day span we learned she had a tumor to she has stage 4 cancer and stopped eating and drinking for the most part. She has had a rough 3 months but certainly didn't think we'd be at the point of setting up hospice for her. My mom was never into any sports really other than following the Red Sox because my dad was a big fan. She always cared about what we were involved in including asking about how golf went.  I have kept up with my 5 minutes of daily practice and will go to the gym here in NH tomorrow morning. Despite the somber nature of this trip my family has commented more than a few times about my weight loss so it's important to me to keep it up. I know my mom always wanted us happy in whatever we did so I'll continue with my fitness journey keeping that in mind.
    • Day 109- Putting drills on a putting green for 20 minutes.
    • Day 252: did a stack session. Did some slow rehearsal swings during breaks.
    • Day 82: 3/18/24 Tried a Stack session but could not certify my warmup. Finished with indoor chips and putting.
