Hi everyone, I need some advice, I have this really old set of Pings Zing 2 and I feel like the new technology could do some good to my game, but I am afraid to choose badly. Seems like the Ping G20 or G25 could be a good bet (without actually trying them). What do you guys think?

G20 or 25 will certainly launch the ball higher and be more forgiving than the Zing 2 irons.

At minimum, I'd go to a retailer and hit some in the bay or simulator to compare against the classic Zings.  I trust you'll like the newer technology.

What's in the Bag:

3-wood: Taylormade Burner 15*
Hybrid: Taylormade Burner 19*

I would say you would be fine picking either the G25 or G20 without hitting them. They are both very forgiving, easy clubs to hit. One of my buddies has the G20's and he absolutely loves them. I bought a bunch of my clubs without hitting them you will he fine.

I made the switch from Mizuno back to Ping last year.I have the G-25's and love them, especially their hybrids( I have a 23 and 27 degree). There easy to hit, get the ball flight higher and love the feel of them.

G20's and G25's very easy to hit and a upgrade to your Zings.

I would suggest you take a few of your Zings to a seller that has a hitting bay. Test both newer model clubs to your current.

My experience during a demo days at a local driving range was the G20's yield a little higher ball flight from the G25's. Regardless do some testing and get fit before purchasing. Good luck.

I'm lovin' my G20's.  Great clubs, I've got irons 6-U and 23,27 and 31 hybrids.  Love that the hybrids can be lie adjusted.  Made a big difference for me on  how well I hit them.  Try a set you won't be sorry.  BTW I like the looks of the 20's over 25's.  I guess I'm just a shovel lovin fool!
