One handed chipping practice

I was watching a John Daly Golf Channel Academy on short game and he was showing his one handed chipping practice.

This looked to me like a great drill to get the feel down that we all look for when honing a particular swing.

Does anyone here practice this type of one armed practice? I haven't yet but think I will give it a try.

Chipping is hard enough with two hands! Which arm does he use?

In his practice drills he uses his left hand. His leading hand in this case.

Yes. I do that exercise. It's fabulous. Like Daly said on the show, you have to do a lot of things right to get that shot to work. Once you learn how to do it like second nature, there isn't anything around the green you can't do. Takes a LOT of practice, though.
