I'm not good enough to use them and they probably won't be fully available in the UK, but I thought you American low handicappers may like this review. If the link doesn't work, just google Rick Shiels Ben Hogan on utube... They look great!!!

There is an article on a pretty decent website about them - click the link http://thesandtrap.com/b/bag_drop/the_return_of_ben_hogan_golf

Thanks. Somehow missed Tristan's article last week.

Yup - only about $4,200 to order a "complete" set of 28 irons (add $560 for graphite).

But then I'm old enough to remember when woods were made from persimmon, and I knew a couple of people who had 2 1/2 woods; so I'm thinking I will wait until they come out in 0.5º increments. You know when the shot is right inbetween a 26º and a 27º iron

Given that I only carry 14 clubs at a time, I think I can get by with a bit less than that! ;-)

In fact, by ordering individual irons, keeping my hybrids and wedges that I currently have/love, I'd only need to spend $840 to replace my irons.  Not bad at all when compared to standard set pricing....

 • 5 months later...

I hit these today at my local golf shop range. Told the guy I would be placing an order in February just solely on hitting them about 20 times. They weren't even to my specs, but they felt great and loved the way they felt coming through the ball. I'm a Titleist fanboy, but these Hogans are really sweet.
