14 Golf Things Available On SkyMall

February 2015
Perhaps you heard that SkyMall, the ubiquitous catalog tucked along with air sickness bags in your plane seat pockets, is no longer going to be published. This is a huge loss to travelers everywhere. This thing was entertaining and a great time killer on a long flight. We decided to look into it one last time to see what products golfers will no longer get to peruse while flying (SkyMall's website remains). We give you: The 14 super-necessary golf products that you won't be able to look at in SkyMall anymore.

I heard that too.  Right in the first sentence of the Golf Digest article that the OP displayed. ;-)

But then again, what the hell do I know?

I see that it says they won't publish the catalog anymore, but I don't see where it says the company is going bankrupt.  It also mentions that the website will remain.

They have filed for Chapter 11, laid off most employees, had their CEO resign, and have had most of their airline carriage contracts cancelled. They're toast.
