The best golf game ever was "Lee Trevino's Fighting Golf" for the NES. Not only is the name awesome, it was a good game.

It's official then, Tiger is obviously finished........in EA sports opinion that is! I used to love playing on Tiger Woods before the kids came along and took over the XBox. It's the only time I will ever play decent golf.

It's a new era.

This is hilarious. Nothing against Rory, but I don't see having a game franchise named after him. Unless they just rename it every year. I don't see his name moving units like Tiger did.

Clearly my vote for Jim Gallagher Jr., PGA TOUR didn't pan out.

Anyway, I'm not as bummed as some others are. Rory's the face of golf at the moment and why not cash in on that? It's not that EA Sports thinks Rory is better than Tiger was, just that Rory is the new era of golf. Believe it or not Tiger fans, it's true.

I cant wait..playing these games passes my time in the winter here. GF bought me a PS4 for my bday and ready for a golf game no matter who is on cover

To me, personally, it doesn't really matter who is on the cover. I'm just hoping the graphics are great on the next gen consoles. And if having Rory's mug on it helps it sell better than last years version, all the power to him.

I would think EA Sports is well enough established that they no longer need a front man for their golf game.  I'm pretty sure they could have saved their money and just called it "PGA Tour 2015"

They probably figured the name switch from Tiger to Rory would throw in a decent amount of hype and conversation. I don't see why you wouldn't want to grab the face of golf for what most likely will be at least the next 5 years....barring any marriage....

Are the controls still shit? Still playing 2012 due to the awful putting style change in 2013's version.

Nota clue what the 2015 controls/play style will be like. I still haven't bought a next-gen system, I might if this game is good. I'm still waiting on a reasonably good golf simulation (that doesn't cost an arm, leg, & ear) from Playstation or whoever. I believe it was PS3 that made a relatively enjoyable disc golf simulation. Wii golf doesn't cut it.
