Hey everybody.

I currently have 712 AP1 Irons 5-PW (regular shaft) .. Also, KZG ZO Blades 3-PW (x300 shafts)

I hit both very well. 8 handicap. Don't ask but sometimes I swing lazy with AP1 than the Blades.. stupid. I know.

Anyhow. I am 'need' stiff shaft, weird I ended up with extreme on both ends. I swing between 105-109mph with driver.

I have a 910 Titliest Driver, Fujikura ProSpeedr 60 Stiff Shaft (love it) :-P

Should I sell both sets, get my Titliest 714 AP2s or CB's with stiffs...or Mizunos MP59 with stiff...

Change the shafts on the Blades to stiff shafts??? .... :pound:

I wouldnt mind getting rid of the clunky head of the AP1.. then again im not silly and i do love forgiveness.

I dont know.. you guys are my last resort for some sound advice, alot of you have great opinions...

Thanks for your time and response B-)

You'll likely get around $150-$200  trade-in on your 712 AP1's.  The KZG's aren't listed on the PGA.com Value Guide so I don't they have any trade-in value.  If you sold them both through eBay you might get a bit more.

At an 8 handicap the MP-59's and AP2's would give you a nice balance of forgiveness and tight dispersion.  Regardless of which set you buy, make sure you get fitted for the proper shafts.

I think your best bet would be to go to a Fitting & Demo Days that most major golf companies sponsor. That way you could hit a few different clubs and get advice about the proper shaft for you.

Here is a website where you can find Titleist Demo Days...

I have the same driver swing speed as you. Just sold my ap1 712s on eBay for £180 (270 dollars???) and picked up a set of mp54s for £330 Went for the same DG s300 shafts as they were a good fit in the ap1s So far so good. Definitely not as forgiving but love the contact when I hit the sweet spot. Good luck with whatever you decide

X300 ... thats Extra Stiff.. X300 are like Extra Stiff Shafts on Steroids

I see, you want to go down to an S300 or KBS Tour Stiff, both are pretty good. I like KBS a little more for my irons and DG for my woods. The S300 feel kind of planky, while the KBS feel more "soft" but still responsive.
