Instructors,

Can having an open stance cause more toe shots? I tend to set up open but lately my misses are off the toe.  I have been tinkering with lie angle but I am thinking it may also be caused by open stance.  Thoughts?

Sure. I don't know that I'd call it a strong tendency or anything but generally people who toe the ball have a path going left too much through impact, and an open front foot can increase that tendency.

Maybe 65% exhibit that tendency? Off the top of my head.
