So, I just bought a set of RSI-1 irons from a place called Island Golf on Amazon, I got a 4-PW, AW for 599 shipped. I was just looking at the Taylormade website and it said the the serial number would be on the 5 or 7 iron, and there would be no serial numbers on the wedges. The thing is, ALL of my clubs have a serial number on them. Is there any way to tell if these clubs are fake or not? I though that 599 for 4-PW, AW was a REALLY good deal, I just hope it wasn't to good to be true.

call taylormade and give them the serial number and ask them who they sold those clubs too.

the TM customer service is great.  you can even chat on the website with them.

i think my RSI1's have serial numbers on all of the clubs as well but not 100% sure - mine came from TM direct.

I have done a lot of researching this, apparently Taylormade website is incorrect, since the Rocketballz line came out serial numbers are on ALL hosels, however, the numbers may or may not be the same in any given set. Used to be on just 5 OR 7 iron on older models.

IslandGolf does not appear on TMaG's authorized Amazon.com dealers:

Doesn't mean they're automatically fake. Do you have concerns other than the serial #s? You can post some pictures so we can get a good look at them, but if you have serious reservations, you should definitely contact TMaG.

If they are selling below the minimum price from TM, then they will create another store to sell from, so they don't lose the ability to sell TM clubs. I bought Callaway irons a couple years back on eBay from a place that didn't exist (other than on eBay), but they shipped from an auhtorized seller.

Like I said, the clubs could be legit, but this type of operation has all sorts of shady surrounding it. Any company selling counterfeits can pretend to be a shell of an authorized dealer and sell you fakes.

Caveat Emptor.

You posted this 6 months ago, and I'm curious what the outcome was. Fake or real? You didn't indicate if the shafts were steel or graphite, but either way $599 would have been a great deal. FYI, for a TaylorMade account getting the best possible price would have paid $516 for steel and about $580 for graphite...that's their net cost.
