Your left shoulder should seek to drive down as you turn more, because you just turn super flat by standing up almost immediately during your backswing, then you have to "manually add" the bend back in quite a bit from transition to early downswing, which inhibits your ability to get forward and turn properly on the downswing and into the follow-through.

Thank You for the Response.  Left shoulder down...Maybe a feel of the left should coming under??  I had a feeling it might look pretty ugly, and I am not disappointed in that regards.  Thank you, I will work on this for a few weeks and see about making some progress on this...

Particularly early during the backswing.

Put a towel on the wall, and your head on that towel. Make some backswings.

Or, have a friend hold a hula hoop around your shoulders and perpendicular to your "spine angle" between your shoulders.

  • 2 weeks later...
Been working on this daily. I will get some film later this week. Went to the range today after work. alot of slow half swings working mostly on my turn. I am seeing the ball through my whole swing now so i think the video is gonna show some positive changes in that regards. Also hit the ball mostly fat, probably because of a combo of early extension and weight not forward.....we shall see. I can see how changing one picture is gonna lead to changing more pictures as the old compensations wont fit anymore...isnt golf fun;-). On the plus side nothing thin....
