After watching an old movie Ben-Hur (how about that Judah Ben-Hur character?), I am going out to range and hit some balls. My range at night is pretty Silent on Friday night. I love it that way. I see the Mailman delivering a package that looks like a golf club I sent out for adjustments. Just in time. I will unpack it at the range and see if I can notice any difference.I sure hope I don't run into too many GolfingDads who bring their kids to the range.  More often than not, they disrupt my practice.

For the Saturday round tomorrow, although Isukgolf, tonight's full range practice will help.  I don't need No Mulligans tomorrow if the session goes well.  No more shouting Watchoutleft from tee boxes.  No need to be a Perfect Slicer either.

I will do some putting practice as well to avoid FourPutts.  Of late, I had too many Shorty putts which made me look like I am Newtogolf.   Like a Kucher TV ad, I need to put the ball Inthehole.  You know, they are correct in saying you DrvFrShow and putt for dough.

Who's with me for a perfect range practice tonight?

I think that Judah Ben-Hur character is a pretty cool cat.  Also, let's not forget that he gave Messala a drubbing for the ages.  Nothing has even come close since then for the kind of ass kicking that was dished out on that day.

Back from the range. As bad, or worse than the golfing Dad with kids, is the business person who runs into someone they know. And they happen to be right next to you. So they commence to talking about everything. I wanted to tell them to just go get themselves a room and they can talk all they want.

It is important to expect nothing, to take every experience, including the negative ones, as merely steps on the path, and to proceed.”. Ram Dass

Started today's round with a @Quadhole.   That was even with a range warm up prior to the round.   By the end of the warm up, I thought I was a good enough @BallStriker to s tart the round wi th a ball in fairway.  Didn't happen.  Maybe, I should have @Stretch ed.  But I am proud that I took @No Mulligans .   I did, however, almost made @Fourputt s on hole #8 aft er reaching the GIR.   I am hoping to do better on @saturday .

    • Day 76 - Pretty sore today, so I opted for putting over my Stack session. Primary focus was on starting line, as my putting has been pretty poor this year.
    • Been a bit of delay in updates but I needed to come back east as my mom's health has taken a serious turn for the worse. In a 3 day span we learned she had a tumor to she has stage 4 cancer and stopped eating and drinking for the most part. She has had a rough 3 months but certainly didn't think we'd be at the point of setting up hospice for her. My mom was never into any sports really other than following the Red Sox because my dad was a big fan. She always cared about what we were involved in including asking about how golf went.  I have kept up with my 5 minutes of daily practice and will go to the gym here in NH tomorrow morning. Despite the somber nature of this trip my family has commented more than a few times about my weight loss so it's important to me to keep it up. I know my mom always wanted us happy in whatever we did so I'll continue with my fitness journey keeping that in mind.
    • Day 109- Putting drills on a putting green for 20 minutes.
    • Day 252: did a stack session. Did some slow rehearsal swings during breaks.
    • Day 82: 3/18/24 Tried a Stack session but could not certify my warmup. Finished with indoor chips and putting.
