Hello I need help choosing a new set of golf clubs. I am 20 in 2 months and have been playing golf since I was 10 and have been okay at it and I really enjoy it. My first set of clubs were a miss match of clubs and then my second set of clubs I bought were a set of Wilson clubs. Ever since I bought them I have been unhappy with them lucky I only payed $100 for them. I can't seem to find anything about them online all I know is they say Wilson County Tour on them and they look quite modern. The woods are to round with no loft they irons are graphite and are very hard to hit and the wedges are pretty bad to. The only thing good about this set is the hybrid. Has anyone heard anything about this set? I don't think that I am bad because I can hit good shots I just think that is the clubs.  I usually only play 9 holes and score around 40 on a par 32 at Safety Beach Golf Course in Melbourne Australia. I am looking to get a new set of clubs that will hopefully improve my game. I want to get a set of steel irons as I hate the Graphite. What should I buy? I am looking at getting a new driver woods hybrid irons and wedges and a putter preferably all the same brand my budget isn't to low but I don't want to spend to much a bit over a grand at tops. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!

Welcome to the site @Billy66681

I would recommend going to a golf store and hitting a bunch of different irons and woods.  Tell the proprietor you are looking to buy a set and want to try a lot.  Most good stores will let you.  Then, I would recommend they fit you when you decide to buy.  If cost is an issue, I would look at used irons sets and woods as these can be great bargains.

It is hard for us to tell you what to buy because we are not you!  The clubs have to feel, sound and look good to you and meet your budget.

Best of luck.
