I don't know of any of the Bushnell models that are $100.  I had a Tour v2 and now have a Tour v3, both are excellent devices and work very well.  I'm able to pick up pins out of background clutter (trees, houses, etc.), can reliably shoot things like bunker lips, a ball on the fairway, yardage markers - just about anything that has some feature to distinguish itself from its surroundings.  Several of the guys I golf with have the v2 or v3 models and all are pleased with them.  Just be aware that if you buy a "slope" model (which takes elevation/slope into consideration when measuring distances), it often won't be legal for use in tournament play.

Correction:  If you buy a model with the slope function it will NEVER be legal for tournament play.

The ones with the interchangeable face plates (after the first Leopold one) are legal with the correct face plate, of course. The slope feature hardware is in the face plate (that's where the first Leopold went wrong - the faceplate just completed a circuit or something).
