I loved them, they were not as smooth feeling as the G30s were, but the results were longer and more forgiving. they are not terrible feeling by any means. just felt like it took more work to get them into the slot. some may not even feel that however. also they have their own "standard length" as they are about 1/2 inch longer even in the steel. not sure why however. but definitely a good purchase if they swing well for you. great for high handicapper but less offset then G30s as well. and are somewhat shapeable. the 2s seem more so if that's what you are looking for. a solid buy. I would have bought a set if I had the money to spare on them, they are a bit steep for some. then again dollar for dollar if I could squeeze a bit more out I would be going with the XRs or Apex from Callaway as they had the feel of the G30s and the distance at least of the RSi (FOR ME).

try them if you get a chance tho.

@billchao is reviewing the RSi 2 irons, they're different but maybe he can share a few thoughts.

I actually have no experience with the RSi 1 irons, but from what I've read about them, the Ping G30s are a good comparison. The G30 irons are very easy to hit and get up in the air, but are also hard to hit lower which is the main reason I'm moving away from them (and other clubs in that category). As for the RSi 2 irons, I think they are excellent clubs. They are very forgiving as shots hit straight off the toe only lose about 10-15 yards or so and are only a little bit more offline. If you're aiming at the center of the green and you toe one or thin one, there's a good chance that you might still hit the green or at the very least have a nGIR. The other thing I really like about them (and the RSi 1s are designed the same way) is that Taylormade designed the set progressively, incorporating more GI elements in the longer irons than the shorter irons. Since most people struggle more with the longer irons, they made them easier to hit and higher launching, but they didn't put as many of those elements into the 9i or PW so they are easier to control and you don't end up hitting them too high.

I tried both the rsi and callaway xr irons. Both felt similar to me so I went for the xr irons to save some cash as I was upgrading the full set. Love them although the custom fit was an extra inch and a half which I am still getting used to.

I personally doubt there is a noticeable difference in performance among any of this year's (or the last few years') SGI irons.  That being said, I think the RSi 1s are the best looking of the bunch and I would choose them if I were in the market.
