Bit of a language barrier

I feel that im having a hard time navigating this site because theres so much jargon i haven't heard before. I need help. Really badly. I need to get a new stick, a nice one, one that makes the goals quick. I'm not saying topline but at least what the general sporting good store would have. Mine recently broke. i bought it from a pawn shop and it never seemed quite straight when i bought it originally.
