How to fix my golf swing?

I am hitting all my golf shots decent but I want to improve. I shoot in the high 70's usually. My coach said sometimes I take my back swing back to far and my swing gets steep. I struggled with a little fade so he closed my stance with my shoulders. And on my downswing sometimes my arms follow through to left and I know they should be towards the target but sometimes i can not do anything about it. I sometimes slightly hook the ball with my irons and fade the driver. Any advice?

You list yourself as a 12 HC. That means you shoot around 84 with the occasional round in the 70s. How long have you been playing?

What does your coach identify as your priority piece? That one thing that seems to be causing most of your problems. Focus on that.
