I don't do it often but I did last week and one of the things that sux is when you make a phenomenal shot, no one is there to witness it. I holed a 174-yard bunker shot with a 5i the other day. Had to cover a 2' lip too, maybe the best shot I've ever hit. I just stood there for about a minute looking around to see if ANYone had seen it...nope. Funny story though, as I was driving up to the green, the greens keeper was just getting there to water. I yelled to him, "Look in that hole, look in that hole!" He did, saw my ball so I had a partial witness. Anyway, texted my buddy about the shot and he's giving me a hard time about how it doesn't count, he doesn't believe me, just messing with me. Well, a few days later he's with me there and as we come up to the 10th green, there's my greens keeper and unprovoked he says, "Aren't you the guy who holed that fairway bunker shot on 3 last week?" Oh man, that was priceless, we laughed and I got to shove it back into my buddy's face a little. Anyway, running on but I wonder if anyone had a similar experience, maybe an ace, while playing solo.

Lots of great shots, but only one ace when playing alone. I am especially lucky with longer chip/pitch shots.

The first time I birdied a par 4 it was alone. Craziest part was that I made a putt that was literally 40-50 feet. Played the same hole with a friend two weeks ago (its a 290 par 4, wide fairway, slightly downhill so obvious birdie hole) and birdied it again, this time by sticking a partial gap wedge to about 5 feet

Years ago I was playing alone on the UF golf course. I had a very good round going but just bogeyed the easy par 4 17th. I was pissed so I wailed on a driver on the 18th hole. An uphill 438 yard par 4. There's a bunker on the right off the tee that a good drive of mine ends up just short (~250 yards). Well this time I thought I drove it right into the bunker, but it cleared the bunker on the fly and I found the ball next to the 100 yard marker. 338 yard drive uphill and nobody around to see it. I'm not sure if it was the same day, but the hardest hole on the course is a 437 yard dog leg par 4 with lots of trees and an undulating green. I hit a long drive off the tee but it went right under some trees. I was about 150 yards out and punched an iron under the trees. It landed just short of the green rolled up on the green, went up and down the mounds in the green and in the hole. Eagle on a hole where I'm normally thrilled to get a par. Nobody around. A few weeks ago I clanged a pin on a par 3. It ended up about a foot from the hole. I'm glad it didn't go in because I was alone then too.

I've been a bit fortunate that my two most notable golf moments, a 20 yard chip in from a spot that I had no right to get within 20 feet of the hole from for my first ever birdie and an albatross, have come with an audience.  It is pretty surprising considering I play almost all my rounds as a single.

On a slightly unrelated note I made my first (and only) hole in one in disc golf by myself.  Made sure to call my friend as I walked up to the basket haha.

Holed out from a (greenside) bunker, made my first birdie ever with a chip and hit the flag (made birdie) on a 180y par 3. All to be witnessed by nowbody but me. The greenside bunkershot was for tripple bogey, hit twice oob from the tee

I was playing with my girlfriend on a 9 hole and chipped a shot in from 6-8 yards out for my first birdie ever on the 9th hole. 9th hole is 146 yards and I put my 9i 2 yards short of the green I played the green perfectly... it was an uphill shot and the pin was to the left. Shot the ball to the right and it took the best break ever to sink it. I turned around as soon as it happened to see if she saw. Her jaw was dropped like "Did you really just do that?". It is definitely something I won't forget.

that's why I tried to bring SwingTalk on solo practice.

it talks to me about my swing immediately and feels like compliments. I thought I did well but there was no reaction from the device, it meant I didn't do better than my thought. :-P Also it can be the evidence to show others the record to be saved in app.

try to use SwingTalk if you felt so lonely and no one know your ace golf ability. hahaha
