I just aquired some taylormade burner plus irons. It's been a few months since my clubs were stolen but at the time I was trying to play twice a week. My old clubs were the ping g20's which I like but don't have the money to fork over for a new set of clubs. My question is do I attempt to get these fitted for me? I have a gift card for $100 bucks to golfsmith that I was going to use to get them fitted. Plus the extra it would take.

Do you know the length and lie of your Ping Clubs that got stolen? Or do you need to be fitted again?

I was fitted about 4 years ago. I can't remember what my numbers were. So I figured I would just get fitted for these and go on. But wondering if it's worth it. I would like to save up and get some g30's fitted for me. But that's looking into next year.

I was wondering if you knew your length and lie numbers bc it may only cost you a few bucks to have a club repair guy bend the irons. If you needed them cut down and regripped, that will cost more.

Hmm. I may just play with these for a bit and then start from scratch next year. They don't feel too bad and I have used them once before at the range but it's just the feeling that I'm missing from my old clubs I guess. I havnt played for a few months I just didn't have the money to buy new clubs and a friend of mine brought me his old irons and another gave me his old driver a while back and I have an old putter that I'm going to use. I just miss playing really.

You can call PING, give them the serial number and they can tell you the specs.
