Holly Sonders Agrees to go to Prom with Andrew Orischak Despite Losing U.S. Junior

But there was a silver lining for Orischak. Besides earning a spot in the 2015 U.S. Amateur – which will be played at Olympia Fields (Ill.) Country Club Aug. 17-23 – and 2016 U.S. Open sectional qualifying, Orischak might have the prom date of his dreams: Fox Sports broadcaster Holly Sonders.

Orischak and Sonders made a bet earlier in the week that if the class-of-2017 Virginia commit won the U.S. Junior, she would accompany him to his Hilton Head Island High School prom. He came up just short of the win, but Sonders had some news on Twitter later Saturday night:

Right? He would probably get to see more doing a quick Google search. Who knows though, maybe she'll come drunk. LOL

It's the celebrity concept ... may help him overcome the loss of self esteem from frankly, having the Junior Am in his pocket, and him proceeding to spray, and his opponent lighting it up over the last 8 holes.

With 5 up and 8 to go, I'd consider Holly as part of his comeback program as well as a golf shrink.

Hopefully, it works out for him.

If he wanted a relationship, he'd be better off with a woman of his own generation. I take it that he wants the celebrity ... it's a once in a lifetime deal.
