Playing into the sun

Many people, including me, have a bit of trouble playing into a low sun.  I understand I need to make my normal swing and trust in the results.  Still, the tendency is to "peek" in a usually vain attempt to see where the heck the ball went.  It is especially difficult to stay with your swing when your fellow players are not especially sharp sighted.

Any ideas or tips?  Maybe I need a pair of sunglasses for these situations?

I generally always play with a bunch of guys that are 20-30 years older than me so I always have the sharpest eye.  It has definitely led me to taking a peek and trying to watch my ball because they generally can never see it.  All I can say about playing in the sun is trust your swing and hope you can pick it up and Go Blue :)

Oh my i had this problem last weekend, i decided to go out early both days, to try and beat the rush, and the same 2 holes gave me trouble off the tee. first hole, neither day did i find my tee shots which is pretty annoying. the second hole, on the second day i was able to find my ball. i can say i had laser focus on that hole as i didnt look at the sun, trusted my swing and walked up to find my ball about 270 out, right side of the fairway. thats the best thing i can say is to trust your swing. and swing to target. if you do that you shouldn't have a problem with that.

If I don't find it, I just declare it a "Sun Ball" and throw one out where I think it may of gone.   That's an official scoring rule, right?  Just like when gophers take my ball when I can't find it out in the grass.

I have Transitions glasses and always wear a wide brimmed hat. This helps in all weather conditions.
