I know tiger woods says its the open for him. @ the home olf golf St. Andrews.

My favourite is the masters.

Ps. Isn't a major a 'championship' and not a 'tournament' ??

I was going to say, "My Club Championship" being played this weekend!

The most important? I'd say the Masters. (btw - this should be a poll).

they all serve a different purpose, but i think the u.s. open is generally the most difficult test in golf.

The open championship is the most important championship because it was the first, and it requires a wider range of shots needed.

Hybrids: Halo 16* with a Aldila NV stiff shaft
Irons: forged blades with Dynamic Gold S300 shaftsWedges: Tom Watson 52*, 56*, 60*Putter: G5i Tess Ball: Z-URC

I would have to say the US Open to me, but I certainly respect The British Open as a choice too. Hell, all four are obviously important, but I see those two as the biggest to me.
What's in my Mizuno Aerolite Stand bag:

r7 460 10.5*, stock Stiff Flex Shaft
CLK Fli-Hi 17* hybrid, Prolaunch Blue Stiff shaft
Slingshot Tour 21*, DGS300 shaft Baffler DWS Hybrid 26*, Aldila NVS-HL shaft MP-60 5-PW DG S300 shafts Tour Action 900 54*/12* WedgeVokey Spin Milled 58*/08* Wedge...

In my opinion, it's the Masters. It has been documented that this tournament produces the most proven champions over the years (followed by the British Open). The U.S. Open and P.G.A. tend to yeild a lot of freakish winners.

My Tools of Ignorance:

Driver: Ping I20 9.5*
Woods/Hybrids: Cobra AMP 3W and 3 HY

Irons: Cobra AMP 4-GW

Wedges: Callaway Forged Copper 56* and 60*

Putters: Scotty Cameron  35" (Several of the flow neck blade variety)

Ball: Bridgestone B330-RX and Srixon Z-Star

Bag: Nike Performance Carry
