Pulling 3-hybrid (hitting left), I hit my 3-wood straight, Time for a 5 or 7-wood?

Unless the swingweight of the 3 hybrid is significantly different than the clubs around it, the issue is most likely mental. Not sure how often you use it during an average round but a few poor shots can seem like a pattern if you're not using it frequently.

Could it be that the 3 hybrid is offset and the rest of your clubs are not?

Have you tried setting up with your 3-hybrid slightly open to counter any offset or draw bias the club was designed with?

Related to this: Do you have the same thickness grip on the 3H as the 4H? If you bought them used from Tour Edge, did both come with the same grips?

Compare the lie angle on the 3H and the 4H. If the 3H somehow ended up more upright (check specs chart), this would increase chances of a left miss.

Finally, you could always have the grip adjusted using a clockface as positioning guide. As shown below, rotate grip so that the alignment markings are moved to 11 o'clock. That way, the clubface will be slightly open when player places hands on alignment markings during grip set-up.

I actually bought them new from Rock Bottom Golf... So the Grips are the same. I play Tour Edge XRail Driver, 3-wood and Hybrids... If that helps...

The reason I asked about an offset is I have an off the shelf from costco full callaway set.  5 thru SW, 4 hybrid, 5W, 3W, Dr

My 4 hybrid has a noticeable offset compared to the rest of my clubs and I have to adjust a bit or I'll pull draw it.  It was slightly annoying but I've learned to adjust for it and it has become an easy club to hit.

I'm pretty sure XRail is their GI hybrid so it might be more offset than your 3W to improve forgiveness.  I'd go to the range and try setting up to the target with the club face slightly open to see if that results in less of a pull.  If it does you can then experiment with it to get the desired shot shape you're looking for.

I'm curious about a 5 wood too, but love my 3h. Tried moving the ball back?

I don't have a qualified answer to your dilemma, That said, I think if a golfer has room in their bag for 7 a wood, and will take the time to learn to use it, they will be a better golfer. I carry a 7 wood, and I use it for all kinds of different shots. It's my "go to" money club when I find myself in an unfamiliar predicament. I use it anywhere from 180 yards and in. I have even putted with it. Chips, and pitches too when another, more readily accepted club might not work.

Another way to look at various golf clubs is that they are tools, and the golfer is the craftsman. A good craftsman knows how to use his tools.

Funny I should read this.  When I was fitted last week for my new TM irons, I tried the hybrids that were supposedly matched to replace the 4 and 5 irons if that was wanted.  On the monitor, I couldn't hit the hybrids, pulled every one of them.  Even the best swings I could put on them started left of target and then drew or hooked farther.  The irons consistently had a little fade, very controllable.  I even tried two other brands of hybrids and had the same results with all.  Now I have no hybrids in my bag, just Titleist 913 driver, TM Aero-Burner 5W, Aero-Burner irons 4-GW, Vokey SW and Cleveland 56° utility wedge.  I'm going with that bag, just 13 clubs including putter, for the time being.  I can't really think of anything else that I would have to have right now.

Update not pulling 3 hybrid as much anymore, only when I have 225 to the front on the 530-yard 9th Hole, in my first 9 today I had probably 255 to the hole, on 9... Hit a 3 hybrid out of the rough just short of the front of the green in two..

XRail long clubs skirt line between GI and SGI. But, they do this without high offset or draw bias.

The XRail FWs and hybrids have square faces with minimal offset. They get their helpfulness with extra heel-toe weighting, and a V-sole that helps get the club back to square in light rough.

Exotics XRail clubs don't go quite as far as the regular Exotics, but the XRails are very reliable if you just swing smoothly.

I am considering getting an XRail 4H to go with my 4W and 7W.
