McIlroy thinks, wait, what, where's my logo? WHERE'S MY BLOODY LOGO NIKE? That rubbish Spieth, I'm going to kick his a**! :-D

Quote:
The company took a step closer to making that a reality, as it has filed for three trademarks for what appears to be the golfer's logo.

The logo features two J's with an S that is contained in the white space in between. The filings say the intent is to use the logo on everything from footwear to golf gloves, headwear, eyewear, jackets and pants.

UA is blowing up, seems they have a ton of young guns. The UA look is clean and slick, similar to Nike. Wonder if they plan to move into equipment?

Is that the best they can do? Maybe I am not the target market but that's not an attractive logo. The Stephan Curry logo is far nicer.

Thought this too until my simpleton mind caught the J's in the logo.  I kinda like it.  Simple enough to throw on a hat like the TW logo

I'm not a fan of UA's logos anyways, and this isn't much better. It's not bad, I guess, but it's not great either.

I see the s but I dont see 2 js unless you call one of them turned sideways

The J's are flipped on the horizontal axis.  One is face up, the other is upside down.

The 70s called, they want their graphic design back.

I guess you don't like Footjoys either.  Logo's should be simple and recognizable, not flashy.

I hope they release a series of pirate patches, because I would totally buy one of those!!!  Go Jordan, arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, I assume they mean to release contact lenses with the logo on them as well?? :-P

No I like FootJoy's logo.  I am a logo geek and work in branding...

I didn't say Jordan's was bad, just very 70's style.

Did you see the TaylorMade logo a couple guys were sporting on their hats last weekend? I thought THAT was 70s looking. Maybe retro is in, in terms of branding?

That logo is more 80s branding.  TaylorMade was founded in 1979.

Retro can be in, but just have to be careful to not date your logo before it even releases.
