That's because it says "Preceptor" golf. That is in Google - it was set up by Dave Pelz...

I realize its a Teacher made by Perceptor. And I've read about Dave Pelz. I guess i was a little vauge in my question... There isnt much information on wiki and google about "the teacher" line (that i can find). I've found a few images of the putter but none that look quite like mine. I guess my real question is: is this a good putter, is it valuable/rare or just a paper weight? Display case, golf course, or dumpster?

I couldn't find any info on it either, but I'd try it and see how you like it. It may be magic for you. If you decide it's not for you, don't dumpster it.  Heck, I like the looks of it myself and would gladly take it off your hands.

Unfortunately it's not valuable.

Unless you putt really well with it ;-)

It is Preceptor, not Perceptor.

Very few old golf clubs are worth anything at all whether in new or battered condition. There is no collectors' market.

The putter you have is one of hundreds of copies of a Ping Anser.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.
