I only play nine holes every two weeks but do something golf related every single day. whether it's ball hunting, going to the range, watching golf on tv, or just swinging in the backyard. Not sure why but to me Golf is certainly addicting. My next nine is tomorrow but today? 1. Walked along the fence of the private club in my neighborhood to start the day. Watched a few players tee shots. Found 10 balls. ProV1, the number 1 found ball in golf. 2. Played golf games on my free Thinq app. 8 more days left and my Q handicap is hovering around 10. 3. Called my friend to talk about tomorrows round. 4. Swung some in the yard, some chipping 5. Watching golf on TV while posting here. 6. Checked out the scorecard for the nine I'm playing tomorrow. Even looked at the course on Google Earth. Probably play more ThinQ games later. All in between hours helping my honey make our juice for the week. Time to get professional help or typical for most golfers?

Bought some new shoes and a couple gloves for next season and spent about 30 minutes testing putters including Scotty Camerons.   OMG.   They are amazing.

My son was up visiting this weekend, which usually means no golf, but I talked him into going to the range and giving it a try. I then "talked" him into playing the front 9 with me. I think he had a good time.

Sat around and thought about how nice it would be to not have nasty elbow pain and pretended to swing a club.

Was busy all day working on a very sunny beautiful day so I don't feel guilty for playing golf tomorrow early afternoon...

If I don't have an early morning range, or play session planned, it's a few swings with my driver, and my regular 2 mile, morning walk with the dogs.  I associate walking with my golf game to keep my legs in decent shape. 2 miles does not sound like much, but the course I use has flats, up, and down hill areas that pretty much work the muscles I need in golf. The cardio benefit is just an extra. Takes about 45 minutes. When the weather cools off, I will increase it to 4 miles. I am still waking up to 85+ degrees temps, and high humidity.

In My Bag:
A whole bunch of Tour Edge golf stuff......

    • At Bent Tree, right? I'm surprised the greens were that slow. I played right around the corner at Northstar and their greens were normal speed. Slightly soft/receptive but not overly so and not slow or shaggy by any means.

    • So, last night was the first night of golf league. First tee I stuck in the ground this year. First time hitting a ball off the grass. Left my putter on my indoor putting mat in the office so I was able to borrow one of my pal's spare putters. I putted poorly, but not the putters fault. Took me forever to realize the greens were very very slow. We've had tons of rain and the greens were downright furry. I also went from my car to the clubhouse to the first tee. No warm up.  It took me a bit to get it going. But finished solid. I think I had four penalty strokes in the first 5 holes.
