When my brother and I get together we generally play a lot of golf, but this week is a record for us.  Monday - 36 holes; Tuesday - 18 holes; Wednesday - 27 holes; Thursday - 18 holes; Friday 36 holes.  And we have a 9:18 tee time today for our final 18 before he heads back to Idaho tomorrow.

That's 153 holes of golf on 7 different courses in 6 days (yes, riding not walking, but still...) and we aren't kids any more.  He's 65 and I'm 68, so I figure we aren't doing too bad at all.

That's a lot of golf in such a short period of time. You should be commended on your play. You, and your brother probably need a pair of "Golf Ironman" badges sewn on your golf bags.

I once played 18 holes, 9 days in a row, on 9 different courses while on a golfing road trip. A few times I have played 54+ holes in one day at charity events.  Every so often I will play 18  holes, 4 straight days, on the same course for the fun of it.  Then compare my net score to the pros who played that week. Those 4 days of play are usually walking/trolley days. Those are my personal best. With the weather is finally cooling off around here,  I see a lot more weekly golf in my future.

And I'm another 12 or so years younger than you ... I honestly don't know if I could even pull that off. Very impressive Rick!

How's the body holding up? I've done, 18,36,18,18 before but you are passing that.

Most I've done as an adult is last summer - 18/24/18 Next week I'll be doing 36/36/18 so we'll have to wait and see how the body reacts.

That is pretty impressive. I would probably golf everyday if I could. I have done multiple days in a row and it seems after the fourth day i'm just kind of swinging and not into it as much. Granted it's after work or honey doo's and things.

    • Day 76 - Pretty sore today, so I opted for putting over my Stack session. Primary focus was on starting line, as my putting has been pretty poor this year.
    • Been a bit of delay in updates but I needed to come back east as my mom's health has taken a serious turn for the worse. In a 3 day span we learned she had a tumor to she has stage 4 cancer and stopped eating and drinking for the most part. She has had a rough 3 months but certainly didn't think we'd be at the point of setting up hospice for her. My mom was never into any sports really other than following the Red Sox because my dad was a big fan. She always cared about what we were involved in including asking about how golf went.  I have kept up with my 5 minutes of daily practice and will go to the gym here in NH tomorrow morning. Despite the somber nature of this trip my family has commented more than a few times about my weight loss so it's important to me to keep it up. I know my mom always wanted us happy in whatever we did so I'll continue with my fitness journey keeping that in mind.
    • Day 109- Putting drills on a putting green for 20 minutes.
    • Day 252: did a stack session. Did some slow rehearsal swings during breaks.
    • Day 82: 3/18/24 Tried a Stack session but could not certify my warmup. Finished with indoor chips and putting.
