Who is going to the Sherwood Country Club this year? My wife and I will be there on Friday and Saturday.

I went last year on Sunday (worst day to go), most crowded day along with all the soggy and muddy conditions for all the walkers who trampled all over the course the previous 4 days!!!

I'm planning on going Friday.

Last year I went with a member at my club. He has a friend that lives on the course so we got to park inside the grounds. I'mma ask if he wants to go again. It was pretty neat, after a an hour or so they had to go to work, so I drove my car around the perimiter of the course and got to check out some groups.

I hope one day I can go to a tournamnet to see Tiger and the other great players to see if I can learn something just watching them hehehe.

Have fun and take some pics to share!

There's an LPGA Tour event in Mexico and the Nationwide Tour is going to be playing in the Mexico Open. I don't know where these are relative to you (there was a point in my life when I could name all the Mexican states and place most on the map, but I don't remember most anymore). But I bet the LPGA game is closer to yours, just as it is to mine. When you see someone winning with a PW distance of 115 and driver of 245, you start to see what sort of things you can do. I also bet Tiger isn't playing on those tours anytime soon. Hey, can you get to San Diego for the Buick? Or maybe if he plays in one of the Texas tournaments next year. These shouldn't be an impossible drive from Mexico City.

It's amazing how much you can learn by watching the pros live as opposed to on TV. For one thing they have such great tempo, like they're rocking a baby to sleep..yet the ball seems to go off into oblivion!

The other thing I noticed is how they all attack the ball from the inside and their arms stay connected to their body...this helped me tremendously! --John

Ha at least you have a PGA tour event where you live! In Washington the only event we have is the Boeing classic for the champions tour, Its awesome but most of the top players don't usually show up because of the tournaments that follow are a lot more important.

The LPGA played in Bosque Real, that is 10 minutes from my house. I think that this year they will only play in Guadalajara. Going to Texas sounds good maybe if I have a chance I could go.

Thnaks mate!

I can imagine. I spend a lot of time watching videos in youtube, also all day I watch Golf Channel and I learned a lot about my swing and all that stuff, and had helped me a lot. More than the 3 lessons I have taken. Hehehe.

Thanks!

LOL! I will presume to evreybody that Tiger Woods hit me with his 5 iron in my head hahaha. If you have a digital camera you can put it like in a silence mode. If not just take the picture when he is finishing his swing hehehe. Well that's what I do

Thanks! Regards!

They will confiscate any phone or camera or ask you to leave the grounds. I saw it happen last year to some people...

Last year at the BMW Chamionship I was following Stricker and Tiger. A guy's cell phone went off and he quickly tried to hide but he had about 8 security guy's on him just like that. They told him to hand over his phone but he said no- then they told him the alternative was for them to take it by force and he would be arrested. He gave them the phone and they put it in a zip lock bag with a claim number and gave him instructions on how to get it back. It's pretty common to see people hiding in bushes at PGA events talking on cell phones- usually it women!

Your kidding, they were gonna take his phone by force and then arrest him??? Seems to me that it could prompt litigation on the cell phone owners part... after all, it is his cell phone(property). Seems like the reasonable thing for security to do would be ask him to leave, and escort him off the course.
