Seeing other guys with multiple sets makes me feel a little better.  I've been on a tear lately, finding some older sets for dirt cheap at Golf Galaxy

Mizuno MX-23 3-pw with Dynalite Gold S300s

Taylormade R7 4-GW with TT Black Gold Stiff

Nike VRS_Forged 4-GW with Nippon 950 Pro HT Stiff

Cleveland CG16 Tour 3-SW with TT Dynamic Gold S300

Ping i5 3-PW with ZZ65s

Adams CB2 6-GW with TT Dynamic Gold S300

I don't have too much of an issue swapping between them so far, most except the Nike are D1-D2 weight so they feel similar.  The CG16 are noticeably shorter then the others with more traditional lofts, but others are about the same.

I have three sets at the moment...

Mizuno MP-59's which I carry and play.

Titleist DCI 762's

Ping Zing's

Left Taylormade Burner 1.0 uniflex 4-PW (my course clubs)

Left Callaway X20 graphite regular 3-PW (Son's clubs)

Left Cleveland CG Tour Dynamic Gold R300 3-PW (training clubs)

Ping I15 Stiff Ping steel shafts 3-PW (starting to use for the course) want to switch to Mizuno 825 Pro when I can hit  consistently

Right Titleist 735CM rifle 6.5 3-PW (training clubs for balancing my training)

My wife wants me to streamline my operation a bit b3_huh.gif

2. That's only because I haven't sold the old ones.

I play one set and one set only. Don't know you you can play more than one and find any consistency in your game.

I have 3 sets. 1979 Wilson Staff Tour Blades, 1990ish Titleist DCI, and the "set" in my sig with which I play most of the time.

Another reason to make me get rid of two sets? Eventually the burners and the PING i15 clubs will have to go. I like the Cleveland cg tour better. I hit 3/4 as far with them, but they feel good and hit very consistent.

2-1/2 sets:

Maltby KE4 w/TT Lite XL shafts (in the bag)

Maltby KE4 w/Apollo Phantom shafts (in the "guest" bag)

Maltby Tricept TU (heads only a3_biggrin.gif)

Currently I have

TM Burner 2.0 4-gw stiff

Adams CB2 4-gw with KBS Tour 90 shafts

Titlesist AP1 712 with S300 shafts.

TM's are for sale because I just don't hit them well. I rotate back and forth between the other two sets. I'd have more probably but I can't justify it, I just like irons.

1. Golfworks DM Pro Steel irons

2. Golfworks CER 851+ irons and hybrids

3. Mizuno MP-33 - current backup set

4. Mizuno MP-14 - current gamers (plus hybrids)

5. Hogan Apex 2001 - will be trying to sell

6. Hogan Apex 1972

7. Hogan Apex PCs - have not tried yet

8. Hogan Apex Redlines

9. Hogan Apex II

Started by building a few sets, then started looking for good deals on ebay...most expensive set of the Mizunos and Hogans was $86.

I wish this question had not been posed, but it's obvious after performing an inventory check, that I have a mild addiction to turn of the millennium irons.  Here's my list:

  1. Taylor Made Midsize Burners (3-PW, steel, first iron set, gave them away to charity)
  2. Taylor Made LCG (3-PW, steel, gave them away to charity)
  3. Callaway X-12 (3-PW, steel) - personal favourite
  4. Callaway X-14 (3-PW, steel)
  5. Callaway Big Bertha 2002 (3-PW, steel)
  6. Callaway X-16 (3-PW, steel)
  7. Cleveland TA7 (3-PW, steel) - very close second personal favourite, but gave them to charity
  8. Callaway Big Bertha 2006 (4-SW, steel)

If anyone knows that name of a good shrink, I'm interested.

John.
