Ive noticed at the FBR Open that this Spider putter made a big event at the FBR. John Brian Holmes used it to win and i saw it in the bags of a ton of other people like shawn o hair. Any comments about the weird looking putter

"People think the size of the head is most important. Wrong. It's getting a quality shaft. test different shafts to see which goes the straightest. Also, more degrees of loft on the head is better than less. Eleven degrees is about right."

i used this club at my local golf store. its really big and i guess it is really stable throughout the swing.

i prefer mine as i have better feel with mine.

The question is whether it will hang around or not

Yea, it was put to good use at the FBR Open, I seemed like everyone was using it! Im not switching my putter though, mines a RIFE and its the best putter Ive ever used.

I'm a bit surprised at how quickly it caught on. I suppose, as mentioned earlier, the pros are willing to try anything. Maybe they're just trying to catch Tiger. Good luck with that one.
