Dont forget Tadd. The year began with him making the cut in his homestate and really putting together a nice week, but most of the fun was watching him give the "hawaiin finger" to the Wie machine who still hasnt made a cut in a PGA even. Unfortunately by turning pro at the end of the year, his story saddened a bit, because it takes more than youthful jubilance to succeed in the show.

The woman's story was 1. Ochoa. 2. Wie's embarassing and at times bizarre decline from glory. 3. The Asian invasion is in full force 3. The Pink Panther re-asserting herself and hopfully ready to challenge Ochoa next year and 4. Sorenstam's much deserved step back from #1.

The PGA basically beat everyone over the head every day for 10 months with a giant white Fed Ex balloon filled with a lot of hot air. Nobody understood the rules, nobody cared about the rules. Ten months ago when the hype machine fired this thing up, everyone assumed, whatever this thing is....Tiger will probably win it and Phil will come close but not close enough. Guess what, Today we still dont know how he did it, what he got for winning it, when he will receive the prize for winning it, or what he gave Stevee for winning it. We do know that neither Tiger or Phil were compelled enough to play all the "playoff games." Thats some kinda of playoff system.
