  1. Sorry this is prob just a noob thing but I remember reading a thread title that was something along the lines of keeping your swing once you found it (and then never got around to reading the contents as I was still trying to find my swing, HA), I tried the search function with no help but then again that was prob not the name of the thread. If anyone could add a link to it I would appriciate it very much. Thanks in advance, Kirk
  2. Thanks for your reply! I know I need to put up a vid but rarely do I hit the range with anyone, maybe the g/f will do me a favor and go with me sometime. I started S&T; last year (on my own that is only book, here, and youtube vids) and the year ended pretty well scores from early spring were 110 range and end of fall were pretty consistant 85-87ish then winter came and had knee surgery and couldnt do anything for a few months and now all has gone to crap... so in short I guess this is me just thinking out loud with the conclusion of yes get a video up and get some help from those in the know. Once again I thank you for your reply! Kirk
  3. I understand the tees in the armpit s drill and that you want the upper arms against the torso all the way so my question is this. Do you keep the arms on the torso where they are when you set up and your arms only go back as far as your rotation will take you or do you still keep connected but move arm(s) (especially front arm, right for me as I'm a lefty) across your body so get more motion/speed on the downswing but all while keeping them against torso. And yes I understand the straightening of the back leg and feet flared out to get more hip rotation and in turn getting more torso rotation, I'm simply asking on terms of how much or little the arms move..... or does it just depend on the club, wedges simply turn torso no arms and longer clubs ie driver more arms to get more distance? Any help would be great, I'm going to work on my connection over lunch and hopefully this will give me a better understanding of what I want to feel. Thanks, Kirk
  4. You should def look into finding an ART (active release techniques) provider, will more than likely be a chiropractor or maybe a LMT. Anyway it is a technique that is strictly for soft tissue problems. A good provider can more than likely have you pain free with in 6-8 visits maybe up to 12. Check out activerelease.com it will give you a better idea about what it is instead of me explaining it to you in detail. They also have a find a provider link at the top of the page so you may be able to find one near you. If you want to let me know where you are located I may even be able to suggest someone. Kirk
  5. Ok, so when I first started learning about lag my main feeling/thought was to keep my left wrist hinged (I'm a lefty) through impact, which I could do very well with my driver and fairway woods but not at all with the irons and wedges. Since then I received a Tour striker for my birthday and read up on the PBS and the idea of the PP3. So now I pay no attention to my left wrist and only to the PP3 pressure and hit the tour striker great along with all my clubs (that is when I take it slow and keep my tempo). So my question is when creating lag should I work/focus on the wrist hinge or is just keep focusing on enough PP3 pressure to create the proper lag or both (I'd prefer to have as few swing thoughts as possible)? On a side note since working with the tour striker with focus on PP3 I have been pretty consistant with divot after ball. Thanks for your thoughts, Kirk
