Finally made the change at the suggestion of my instructor who said the weight masked my poor putting stroke (like a draw biased driver for a slicer)...he preffered me to work on my stroke. I went to the Scotty Cameron Red X5 as I still wanted the look of a mallet....took a few months to adjust, and I almost bailed a few times...but glad I stuck with it. I now love my Red x5 and would never go back to the heavy putter. It was good from inside 10ft...but I have a much better and consistent putting stroke now!

Went to a PING fitting and the i20 driver couldn't touch the results of the i15. I did however change from my G15 irons to the i20s...the i20 irons are simple amazing!

After being fit, I finally took the plunge and bought the i20s (7-UW)...green dot, +1" and dynamic gold X100 shafts. They are a massive improvement for my game from my G15s. In the last 2 mnths I have dropped from a 11.8 to a 8.4 hncp...these irons are awesome! I am hitting so many more greens and just love the look and feel of these sweet irons. Anyone considering upgrading to the i20s should not hesitate...these are the real deal!!!!

I play to a 12 hndcp and have the G15s...was strongly considering the i20s but am a little concerned they are beyond my abilities. Your initial results have me intrigued to say the least. I have an appointment for an upcoming PING fitting with the sole intent of trying the i20s. I hope for similar results!

I play the G15 irons and used to play the G15 driver. I went to PING to have the irons bent and did a driver fitting while I was there. I hit the G15 driver way high with a draw and after seeing improvement in the 9 degree G20 with tour stiff flex I saw the best results in the 8 degree i15 with the UST shaft in stiff. This was before the i20 line was available. I expressed concern over the i15 as I heard the same issues around it being unpopular and difficult to hit. The PING guy told me that most amatuers have or struggle with a left to right ball flight (nice way of saying a slice) and being the i15 is fade biased it wasn't a good fit for the largest percentage of players. However, for drawers of the ball looking for a more neutral or slight fade tee shot (which was me as most OB on my home course is left) this club was money! I ordered it and can tell you I have never driven the ball better. I have yet to try to i20...and do think the irons are worthy of a try out...but I suspect that i15 driver will remain solidly in the bag.

Was fitted for the i15 8 degrees with the axiv core in stiff flex...although I stayed with the G15 as I was afraid the i15 was too much club for me. My driving is pretty consistent with the occasional bad swing (and no driver will help with that)...but I really got spooked with this "double digits need not apply" driver. Even the PING rep that fit me said that the i15 performed the best for me from a backspin, ball flight and yardage perspective, but I should probably stay with the G15 or go to the G20 as they were more forgiving (which I had identified as being important to me). Now that the rumors are confirmed the i20 is coming in the spring the i15's dropped in price. I considered waiting, but have read the i20 will have a neutral set-up versus the fade bias and the i20 will have a more elongated head resulting in a higher trajectory than the i15. The fade bias and more "traditional" head is what helps me keep the ball where I want it...so I pulled the trigger. I have 2 rounds with the i15 and can tell you that my misses aren't the best (but neither were they with the G15), but my good swings produce a low piercing trajectory that flies like a freakin bullet. The wind was crazy strong today and I was still able to get very good distances right into the teeth of the wind (250 yds). I don't know why I waited and was influenced by all the "players only" talk. This driver is a beast and I can't wait for next summer when things are dry...I'll probably get 50+ yds of roll which is unheard of from my tee game. I can't imagine that the i20 would be any better suited for my game...I think the i15 is perfect for me! Now that the price has dropped anyone even thinking about trying this club should not hesitate...even if you are a double digit (starting with a "1")

Black Super hybrid 19 & 21 degree....awesome hybrids. It would take a miracle to knock these outta my bag...I just wish they made them in higher lofts (23, 25, 27)

Footjoy Contour...very comfy and the only shoe that doesn't shred my heels. Not as nice looking as sone of the others like Nike & Adidas....but comfort over fashion

I use the B-3M model and have had it for quite a few years now. Although I've recently considered a lighter putter I do still love the heavy putter for 10ft and in putts. This putter has smoothed out my putting stroke and has helped me go from a 20 hncp to a 9. Try it and give it a chance...I especially like it on fast greens - a nice smooth stroke puts a great roll on the ball. A little tougher on slow/bumpy greens to get the weight right (but that is likely the case with any putter).

ADAMS Black Super Hybrid...like a smaller fairway metal head w/ALDILA Voodoo shaft. This club is the most forgiving hybrid I have ever used and I've test driven quite a few (Taylormade, PING, Titliest, Nike, Nickent & Cobra)...once you try this club your search will be over.

It's already been said but as a person that often plays as a single I wanted to chime in. What's the attitude towards singles? My gosh, we are out there to play just like anyone else and I thought this was a gentleman's game. Etiquette is etiquette regardless of the size of the group. When I play as a single I always go early in the morning (usually first tee time) so I can get around without this problem, but when that isn't possible I have always been asked to join a 2 or 3-some or been permitted to play through a 4-some. No one gets pissy or has an axe to grind becasue I have the audacity to play as a single (god forbid). I don't get the problem...am I missing something?

If you like woods go with a 4-wood...easier to hit off fairway than 3W and longer than 5W...but still good alternative to driver off the tee on tight driving holes. Another option is to go with a 19 degree hybrid as that provides similar yardage as 4W (at least for me).

I have won a few long drives and closest to the pins and this is by far the best prize I've picked up so far!

I decided to keep it and used it this afternoon...worked well. Pockets were very accessible, good sized and the cooler pocket is massive. The external putter well is also awesome.
